Rough week of peeking out from under the covers. We lost our hot water, but we had gas, water, and heat. I was still feeling too cold and lazy to get any real work done. But I watched movies. And the hot water came back in time for me to shower and make it to the show. All told, I know it could have been worse. Here’s this week’s playlist:

It was this time last year 101 Films You Could See Before You Die was pubished by Goner Records. It was a big step for me finishing the book. But this year of promoting the book exceeded my expectations. I was also fortunate to arrange two book tours I wasn’t sure we could make work in the manner I wanted to do them. I have Goner, and all of you who supported the book to thank. But I also want to say a special thank you to the retailers who took a chance on the book and the appearances. There were a lot of phone calls, emails, and and rejections necessary to get the tours running. I wanted to take a moment and thank those stores that took a chance on carrying the book and supporting the spirit of independent music and publishing. Many of them do mail order, so remember them when it’s time to look for a book or record this year. And thank you for your support. Since the book was released we’ve managed a second presssing. I plan to get back out on the road hopefully this year and also work on a new book, a new short story, and continure ATDBM with a new comic.
Thanks for everything. Let’s have a great 2024. BA
